Accepting

Life often throws us curve balls. Personally, I’d rather have straight shots. We only get one shot at this life. I’d like it to be one full of joy and happiness but that’s not possible.
We are tested over and over again.
People hurt us, people betray us and quite often, friends may leave us.
How do you recover from betrayal? Being hurt?
It’s not as simple as 1+1=2 because quite often 1+1=11
I think the first step is accepting. Accept what has happened, accept the betrayal, accept the Hurt and then learn how to deal with it.
Quite often we are doing ok and then something hits us like a big slap up the face.
We can go for days stuck in this ‘mood’. It’s a no go, no listen, no talking ‘mood’.
It kills us inside.
It passes quickly. I suppose that’s a good thing.
